Genuine Blues and Soul
From 8pm in the Main Restaurant
Recently introduced on stage by Jools Holland as "The Great Eric Ranzoni" Having worked with many big named artists, his bluesy style really comes from its roots as he energetically presents some of finest blue classics.
Eric is a full-time musician, a Blues pianist and singer. Anglo-Italian Eric was born in London in 1969 from Italian parents but spent the majority of his life between Rome and Milan. Since moving back to London in 2003, he's gradually gained a reputation as one of the most exciting pianists on the scene, with a warm singing voice and a knack to entertain a crowd.
Eric has played the Blues (and Roots music in general) in many venues in London and the UK, with frequent stints abroad. Many of the musicians Eric has had the privilege to play with have worked with big names, such as Eric Clapton, Memphis Slim, Dr. John, Freddie King, Jerry Lee Lewis, and George Harrison, just to mention a few.
Other than with his own projects, Eric is also in great demand as a Blues session pianist, backing top international musicians and singers, such as Mud Morganfield (the eldest son of Blues legend Muddy Waters), guitar ace Otis Grand, the Cadillac Kings, Big Joe Louis, Bill Hurley ('The Inmates' singer) and several London-based Blues artists.
